semester. The Fall 2019 Executive Board led the meeting by introducing themselves
and the organization, along with its value and member benefits. This semester’s PRSSA Sac State
executive board is made up of:

- Tanya Kaur — Vice President
- Jannah Khalil — Director of External Affairs
- May Mendoza — Digital Director
- Jasmine Fonseca — Director of Event Operations
- Justin Phung — Director of Finance
- Herminio Espinoza — Secretary & Editor-in-Chief
Joining the executive board this semester are two members who are serving PRSSA on
the district and national levels. Milan Williams is serving as the PRSSA North Pacific
District Ambassador, and Jackie Barrazza is serving as the PRSSA National Vice
President of Career Services.
This week’s meeting covered a variety of topics, including dues and payment plans; our
communication platform, Slack; as well as upcoming events, such as our first fundraiser
and networking night of the semester, and the PRSSA International Conference.
Our first fundraising event will be held at Fire Wings from 11 a.m. - 11:45 p.m. on
Thursday, Sep. 19. The first networking night of the semester will take place at 8 p.m.
on Wednesday, Sep. 18 at Top Golf in Roseville.
PRSSA Sac State alumnus Adam Martinez announced an internship opportunity with the
NorCal STEM Education Foundation. The foundation puts on a large science fair each
year for STEM students to enjoy.
PRSSA’s next meeting with be at 6 p.m on Thursday, Sep. 19, location to be
